Where Do We Have Lessons?

We have a 1200sqft climate controlled indoor facility with a lovely 1000sqft training area, as well as outdoor areas with compelling distractions (like cats, chickens, and goats). We vary from location as appropriate. For more advanced students, we can also meet in public spaces to practice our skills.

What do the Private Lessons cover?

We teach your dog the language of obedience - sit, down, and stand stay, recall, and heeling (walking by your side) with traditional leash work, as well as addressing any specific issue they might have like being bad for nail clips, food aggression, or dog aggression. All skills must be taught to you, the owner, for the dog to respond as well.

Do you train dogs who have a bite history?

We do, through our ten week full private lesson option. The reason this is so is because owner participation is absolutely key for the success of dogs who need additional support, like those who have adopted a strategy of aggression to people.

Do you do in-home private lessons?

We do not, because the level of defensiveness in dogs is much higher in their home territory. It is also essential to get dogs out so that they can expand their capacity. Also, people have been known to watch TV or attend to other matters while I was trying to train in home lessons, so it's something I very rarely do anymore.
